I designed this lot for Camisha Sivile at Equus-Sims. The requirements were room for 7 breeding horses, pasture for 3 wild horses, feed room, and a small house for a caretaker.
The first picture is just an overview of how the barn looked once I was done with the walls/roof/windows/doors. On the left is the stallion section, on the right is the mare section. That open area in the middle is an outdoor wash stall/storage for wheelbarrows and bedding bales.
The next four photos are of the mare section. I like brick walls when just building with half-walls so I put those in.
Next is the feed room. I put a desk with a computer in there just for administrative purposes, to keep track of everyone's food intake and such you know. In other words the feed room can work a little bit like an office too.
Then comes the stallion section. Three stalls, also with brick walls. All the stalls contain Primrose High's functional water bucket, a bale of hay, and also Elin's bedding.
Llast in this slideshow is a picture of the outdoor washing/grooming bay, with two wheelbarrows and some bedding bales on the right. On the first photo int he slideshow I had not put in any special flooring here, but I eventually did, with a drain in the middle.

So, next slideshow! There are four photos taken from all four corners of the farm, and finally a picture of the little cottage I built. There are a total of five pastures. One big one in the middle, imagined for mares and foals, three on the left side standing at the front of the lot, thought for stallions, so each has one. The fifth one, that is next to the cottage and has a passage way all the way over to the stable yard is meant for the wildies. It has a run-in shelter. The idea of the passage way is that sometimes you even have to get wild horses into the barn, for vet visits and such.
Some sky-view images of the entire lot, the barn and the cottage.
